El passat disabte 1 de maig, la corredora del Garbí, Xelo Mas, va participar per primera vegada en un Duatló, a Guadassuar. La prova era de 5km de carrera, 24km de bici i 2,5km més de carrera. Xelo, amb un temps total de 1 hora 29 minuts, ha estat la 3ª classificada en Veteranes I.

Ja feia temps que no sabíem res de Xelo, i la veritat és que esta en forma,
no hi ha millor manera de debutar en un Duatló i pujar al pòdium.

Per cert que en el Club cada vegada hi ha mes socis i sòcies que practiquen
esports multidisciplinaris, ja siga Duatló, triatló o muntanya, i no estaria
gens mal que algú dels més experts es decidira a obrir una secció dins del
Club, i així els menys erudits en la disciplina ens atreviríem a provar
noves experiències. Llance el guant per a veure si algú ho arreplega i vol
tirar-se avant en algun tema d’estos. Fem + Club.
Estic en David, seria una gran idea que aquestos socis ens donaren la ultima espenta per estrenarmos en aquestes modalitats.
